Maryland Workers’ Compensation Claims:

Who Pays for medical treatment?

The Insurance company is bound by Maryland Law to pay for all of your medical expenses that arise as a result of your injury.  This includes the cost of surgery; the cost of physical therapy; the cost of medications; mileage to and from the doctor, and any other associated costs. You, as the injured worker, should not pay a SINGLE penny of you own money for this treatment.
